Learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges, respond to individuals in crisis, and connect them with appropriate support in this training hosted by the Hispanic Counseling Center. The course also covers trauma, self-care, and recovery. Participants will earn a 3-year MHFA certification upon completion. Please note: 2 hours of online prework is required before the in-person

Aprenda a reconocer señales y síntomas de desafíos de salud mental y uso de sustancias, cómo responder a una persona en crisis y cómo conectarla con apoyo adecuado en esta capacitación organizada por el Hispanic Counseling Center. El curso también cubre el trauma, el autocuidado y la recuperación. Al completar el curso, los participantes recibirán una certificación de MHFA válida por 3 años. Nota: se requiere completar 2 horas de trabajo previo en línea antes de la sesión presencial.
